Robert has spent over 50 years doing business internationally, throughout all five continents with some of the world’s largest and most prominent companies and government entities in the manufacturing, construction, and engineering industries. Prior to launching Global Investment Attraction Group, he dedicated 20 years to working with economic development organizations and government entities worldwide on developing and implementing programs to attract, retain and grow businesses for a highly successful lead generation company.
Robert gained international recognition when he took a small, domestic manufacturing firm worldwide within three years of entering the company. This accomplishment earned him the “U.S. National Small Business Exporter of the Year”, award and landed his team meetings with the President of the United States, as well as features on the Discovery Channel, the Los Angeles Times, Costco Connection, and more.
Ms. Hoori Khandani is a U.S. Army combat veteran with a decade-long experience as an intelligence analyst; she was a DoD Liaison overseas and Advisor to the Department of State’s diplomats under the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), and assisted in projects focused on rebuilding the target countries in joint operations with Civil Affairs units and the US-AID.
Ms. Khandani has a strong understanding of critical location factors vital to the success of companies considering expansion/relocation. Among her specialties are international law, business & corporate law, and immigration law (especially the EB-5 investment Visa program).
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Communication with a minor in Legal Studies from George Mason University in Virginia, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree with a Global Studies Certificate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in California, and two Masters of Laws (LLM), one in International Law and another in Business & Corporate Law, from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Ms. Khandani is currently preparing for the Bar exam to become a licensed attorney. Aside from many other achievements, she is a distinguished recipient of the prestigious CALI Award and Witkin Award in International Trade & Finance Law, which further highlights her subject matter expertise in the field.
She was a Panel Speaker for the International Economic Development Council’s 2020 Annual Conference, as a member of the IEDC’s International Advisory Committee, on the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) topic. She also spoke at the IEDC’s 2022 Leadership Summit, discussing “Countering the Great Resignation.”
